Cats - home visiting service

We can board your small pets such as rabbits, birds and hamsters, but we do not board cats. When you go away your cat can stay in the comfort of his own home.    A pet carer will come in to  your home as many times as you and your cat require while you are away.

How often will the carer visit my home?

As many times a day as you require. One or two visits per day is usually enough unless you have a kitten which should usually be fed small meals more often. You will have the same carer for the duration of the booking. A visit is about 10/15 minutes.

What does the carer do?

Feed your cat, give him cat milk or water, clean his litter tray. If your cat is of the friendly and affectionate variety they’ll give him a cuddle,  play with him and let him know that he hasn’t been deserted. If you would like, the carer can also draw your curtains, switch lights on and off, move your post out of sight or even water your houseplants.

Will I meet the carer?  Yes, we will arrange for the carer to  visit you in your home to meet you and your pets. If you are happy with the carer you can give them the keys and instructions on how to work your alarm. Also, show them where you keep the cat food, litter and where your dustbin is.

Many people worry about giving someone keys to their house. We take security very seriously and have never had any problems arising from one of our carers. We are sure that when you meet our carers  your mind will be put at ease.
