Frequently Asked
Questions
Who are the carers?
All sorts of people become carers- retired people, housewives, people who work from home, couples, singles, families and we also have several clients who work with us. Pet Nanny interviews each carer in their own home and checks references for reliability, honesty and their love of animals.
It is the enthusiasm of our carers that makes owners come back to us time and time again. We are often looking for extra carers to work on a casual basis and are grateful for recommendations.
We have carers throughout South London, South West London and Surrey; Acton, Balham, Barnes, Battersea, Chiswick, Clapham, Earlsfield, East Sheen, Epsom, Fulham, Ham, Long Ditton, Mortlake, Kingston, Putney, Richmond, Southfields, St Margarets, Streatham, Teddington, Tooting, Twickenham, Wandsworth, Wimbledon, Worcester Park.

How long in advance should I book?
Please
try to contact us at least 4 weeks in advance especially if you need a carer during school
holidays or over Public holidays. At other times we usually need at least one
week's notice. If you do need a carer at short notice
we’ll try to help but the carer may not be so local. Whilst, repeat bookings
can be arranged at very short notice, please bear in mind that your usual carer
may have already made plans.
What
if my pet becomes ill while I'm away?
Before you go away, you will complete our Booking form which includes your emergency contact details or a close friend/relative we could contact in your absence. Wherever possible we will take your pet to your own vet (otherwise the nearest available) and take their advice. You would be required to re-imburse Pet Nanny immediately upon your return.
We recommend that all dog owners should have their dog insured.
We rely on our carers to honour bookings, therefore we feel that they should be compensated for the time they have committed should you wish to cancel with little or no notice.
